Greenwood Village Re/Max office is honored

The Re/Max Masters Millennium of Greenwood Village was recognized as the top producing single-office Re/Max Franchise in the nation and worldwide for total sales volume in 2017. Re/Max said it’s the fifth straight year that the Masters Millennium office has won the award for top sales office in the country. The office is located at 6020 Greenwood Plaza Boulevard, Suite 100, in Greenwood Village.

Health Links gives grants to 15 businesses

Health Links, a program of the Center for Health, Work & Environment at the Colorado School of Public Health, said it gave out funding to 15 Colorado businesses to support capital health and safety improvements in their workplaces. Receiving funds were: Antlers at Vail (Vail); Carbondale Chamber of Commerce (Carbondale); Cornerstone Insurance and Financial Group (Gypsum); Eagle Valley Land Trust (Edwards); Family & Intercultural Resource Center (Silverthorne); Fraser Valley Elementary (Fraser); Holy Cross Energy (Glenwood Springs); Mountain Valley Developmental Services (Glenwood Springs); Shaeffer Hyde Construction (Avon); St. Anthony Summit Medical Center (Breckenridge); Summit Community Care Clinic (Breckenridge); Town of Dillon (Dillon); Vail Centre (Vail); Vail Valley Foundation (Avon); and Vail Valley Jet Center (Gypsum).

Western Union commits $250,000 to Denver schools

The Western Union Foundation said it has committed a grant of $250,000 to the Denver Public Schools (DPS) Foundation. One of the first DPS programs to benefit from the grant is the DPS CareerLaunch internship program, which is designed to give students the opportunity to apply classroom learning and build real-world skills through six-week and semester-long internships. The Western Union Foundation is also the presenting sponsor of the DPS Foundation’s 2018 Achieve Gala, the organization’s largest annual fundraising event.

Denver’s Treasury Division given nonprofit award

The city and county of Denver’s Treasury Division was honored by the Colorado Nonprofit Association with its 2018 Nonprofit Impact Award recipient in March at the Colorado Nonprofit Week Awards Luncheon. The award is given to "a champion of sector-wide issues of critical importance to the state’s nonprofit organizations." The Treasury Division created a "plan to save the non-profit community between $11 million-14 million per year through a simple fix to the tax code."

Female helicopter instructor wins award

Helicopter pilot Ronnie Bogart won the 2018 “Most Productive Organizer Worldwide” Award for setting a new world attendance record for the “Fly WOAW” event, to promote aviation to females, held at the Northern Colorado Regional Airport in March. The event attracted more than 1,700 women and girls who experienced their first flight with pilots from the Denver area and surrounding states.
